What to do when Pen Drive becomes Write Protected?

Sometimes your pen drive can become write protected for any reason. Then it will be painful for you if you do not know about the recovery process. In this post I will describe you about the recovery process.

You can free your pen drive from write protected in three ways. I am describing here the step by step these processes.





First Process:
Just download this software and format your pen drive.

Second Process:
1. Download this software and format your pen drive in low level.
2. Go to Start > Run, write diskmgmt.msc there and press Enter.
3. Select pen drive in Disk Management Window, right click on it and format. Keep your file system in NTFS and Allocation Unit Size as Default.
4. Press OK.

Third Process:
1. Go to Start > Run, type regedit and press Enter. Then Registry Editor will be opened.
2. From this editor go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control.
3. Right click on Control and make new Key as StorageDevicePolicies in          New >Key
4. Right click in StorageDevicePolicies, take a new DWORD value and name it as WriteProtect.
5. Double click on WriteProtect and 0 for Value Data and press OK.
